You ask for Simurgh, the king of birds?

You go through seven valleys:
. The Valley of longing
. The Valley of Love
. The Valley of the knowledge
. The valley of detachment
. The Valley of the unit
. The Valley of confusion
. The valley of death
...
You'll see ...

Uddin Attar

The project is based on the poem of THE CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS by Farid Uddin Attar.
Attar lived in the 12th Century in Persia. The legend tells that his heart opened up for
spiritual life at the sight of a dying beggar, whom he had refused alms . Attar began writing and became one of the greatest poets of the Sufis.

THE CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS tells about a flock of colorful birds searching for Simurgh, their true king. Through seven valleys and deserts leads their adventure. Always temptation is great to no longer continue, or even to go back. The coronation of their journey, the encounter with the king of the birds, they meet the
biggest mystery: they see that they and the Simurgh are the same being.

"The sun of my majesty is a mirror," he is answering to them. "Who has not smelled the scent of my words, has not yet found the way of the lover" - these are Attar's words at the end of his poem, "pearls from the ocean of contemplation" : The Conference of the Birds.
