This seminar explores the issues of perception and imagination, which are inherent in the way we deal with space and objects within life, as well within the fictional landscapes of the performing arts. Its the performer ́s body-mind and its inner-outer movements in space who is the creator of space. By moving in space he moves the space, is moved by space.

„Space is our second skin. Space is a vessel for figure, movement, language, sound, light, emotions, thoughts. Space is a parable of the world“. Achim Freyer

Working steps are:

1. Circle Body-Mind:  Body becomes space - space becomes body
This training for actors and dancers unfolds the kinaesthetic awareness through the physio-energetic alignment of the Body-Mind, to explore a physical, an emotional and imaginative relationship with the inner - outer space.

2. Amplification: Energy lines in body, space, time
Geometry and motion: two inherent properties in man ́s relation with space. Discovery of
the vertical-, diagonal-, and horizontal lines within the body-mind of the performer. Amplification of these energy-lines into space by using materials, props and costumes to explore their inter- weaving relations with space in time. - Research on cultural differences concerning the relations with space.

3. Shivering spaces: Mind at emotional spaces
Studies in walking, stomping, falling and rolling will develop the interfaces of movement and space up to an excess. The body-mind will be shifted, pulled, pushed, kicked into poetic spaces, generating the awareness of our modes of perception, our fabrications of inner and outer space. Furious spaces, resisting spaces, drifting spaces, shivering spaces, frightening spaces, seducing spaces, exploding spaces, attacking spaces, empty spaces will transform, will impress-suppress-express the quality of movement. An    investigation of the impact of the human movement on space and vice versa.

4. Living space: The viewer looks at space - Space looks at the viewer
The work brings body-mind, object and space into interfacing relations. Skills will be developed viewing object and space in a state of receptiveness, as well as primary sources of expression. By listening to the space inbetween object, space and performer / ourselves, we create/open a fictional space, filled with silence, stories, myths and dramas. The seismographic body-mind is being touched and moved by its double, the object, which he is moving. In experimenting so, focus lies on the interfacing lay outs of the lines / silhouettes / textures / directions / rhythms of object, space and actor.

5. Creation: Choreo-sceno-grafic performances: walk acts - parades
Objects, materials, props, costumes, movements, music, space, body-mind are the elements to create scenografic interventiones: The invisible comes into public viewing.
